Hey coffee lover,
You know what's great about wine? (other than the obvious)
It stays forever until you open the bottle; then it gets over fast.
But coffee ain't the same.
You probably have about 4 weeks before your freshly roasted beans start tasting off.
And if you don't store it correctly, the shelf life drops even more.
It's even worse if you're buying pre-ground coffee.
Sure, you can keep it in the resealable bag it came in.
It's better than a mason jar, as long as you keep it in a cool, dry place.
That means no refrigerator — unless you want your coffee to smell like leftover pizza.
You could freeze your coffee beans, though.
But things could go very wrong if you're not careful.
If you're interested in extending the shelf life of your coffee, read our article on…
