Mobile Phone communicating with Microbit by download a App called micro:bit Blue App. The connection between the microbit and mobile phone bridging on bluetooth. Let check out the Blue App and its features.
Mobile Microbit Pairing
Download the APP as following: IOS version and Android version.
Power up microbit board with 1.5V AA batteries.
Open the APP for pairing the microbit app to microbit board.
Tap the Connect button and Tap PAIR A NEW MICRO:BIT button.
Make sure turn on the bluetooth on the mobile device.
The APP will prompt to hold Button A and B of microbit board.
When pairing, make sure you hold down the A + B buttons long enough for all the LEDs on the display to light up.
And press Hold and Release of RESET button.
The PAIRING MODE will be display on the microbit's LED.
Tap NEXT on the APP.
Finally, the microbit will display a pattern on the LED and the app will show empty grid.
Copy the pattern from your microbit onto the grid of the APP.
You will click the grid same pattern on the grid.
Then tap PAIR button to pair the microbit with the mobile device.
Left arrow will blink on LED display for you to press Button A.
A series of number will be display to authenticate the pairing with a notification key.
Enter the key in the mobile APP text box.
Press RESET button on microbit to complete the Setup.
You can reconnect tap PEVUP of the microbit listed under Connect.
