Recently, I have explained the process involved in getting the battery percentage displayed on the iPhone 11.
For most older iPhone devices, the battery percentage is displayed by default. However, newer iPhone models don't have much space in the status bar to contain certain things, but users can still take advantage of the shortcuts and widgets to display battery percentage without stress.
If you have an iPhone 12 and have troubles displaying battery percentage on your screen, please follow the steps below.
How to Show Battery Percentage on iPhone 12
The battery percentage can be displayed in the status bar of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch or viewed directly from the Control Center.
On iPhone 12, you can see the battery percentage in Control Center by just swiping down from the top-right corner of your display.
Alternatively, you can use Widgets to display battery percentage on iPhone 12. Widgets came with iOS 14, alongside a battery indicator widget which can be used to see battery percentage on iPhone devices.
To add a battery widget to your device's Home screen or Widget screen. Tap and hold any blank space on the Home Screen and select the "+" button at the top to add a widget.
Next, search for the battery widget by entering "batteries" as the keyword in the search bar. You can further select the type of battery widget want displayed on the home screen from the three options available.
This will help you to see the battery level without the stress of going to the Control Center at all times.
Older iPhones like the iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone 8 or earlier can show the battery percentage in the status bar. If you have one of those, simply go to Settings >> Battery and turn on Battery Percentage.
