You know that thing coffee tasters do…

Slurp loudly from a cup and say that it tastes of "cherry cola with hints of vanilla and parsley."

Then you try the same coffee, and all it tastes of is… well, coffee.

But don't give up just yet.

All you need to do is look up the coffee flavor wheel to help identify the natural flavors in your cup.

If it's your first time seeing one, try not to be overwhelmed by all of the colors and labels on it.

There's a system to this seeming randomness.

Also, remember that the descriptions are usually a combination of flavor and aroma.

And that these things are subjective.
