Hal Elrod, the author of the book introduced me to the concept of "Discipline Equals Lifestyle", which to me, is a higher level than "Discipline Equals Freedom". With "Miracle Morning", the battle isn't just about skipping the sugary doughnut or not hitting the snooze button.
It's understanding that what you choose to do NOW creates the person you will be LATER. ..that you have the power to impact your future by what you choose, think, or say.
In other words, you reprogram your future by what you do TODAY.
But the majority of people (the book says over 95%) will not listen to this simple idea because they are too busy struggling day to day stuck in their old, negative thinking and habits that they refuse to change.
Combining this with the "effortless state" stuff I learned from "Effortless" and the "5 Am Club", I gained a deeper insight into why I am where I am. It wasn't all my fault, but the way I responded to what happened in my life is 100% my fault and the way I'm responding to my life now is 100% my choice (even when I complained it wasn't).
Which means, I can recreate my story, one habit at a time
(25 minutes Exercise): Day 5 Did a 10 minute MadBarz that surprisingly was 2 rounds of pushups, dips, crunches, etc. I even tried jumping during the workout, with nerve damage in my leg, it was more of hop, but was much improved than before
(8 Critical Tasks) Completed 2 out of 8 tasks.
(Workout B-Walk): Took my first official "walk" (10 minutes) since my diagnosis of sciatica and finished with physical therapy exercises I saw online and cold water therapy
Body
90 Days No Porn & No Fapping Day 38 of no fapping. 48 hours from Day 40 No fapping and Day 100 No Porn
60 Days Kettlebell : Day 47 of 60: I did warmup (100 kettlebell swings-double, left, right, alternating, 100 swings) WOD(below), and cooldown (100 kettlebell swings- double, left, right, alternating), 100 swings )
60 Minute Student (30 Days of Python): Day 11 of 30 Missed.
Traffic U: Missed...even though I had no excuse
Wealth Management: Earn: I am gettin behind here Total $7.19. Still working on the revamp Save: Total: $40.00. Invest: Didn't get the total...again
Business:
Blog : Holding off because my plan keeps changing, but I'm starting to realize that this might be part of my problem
