But they've just let me know that they've just added a new, really good discount code, which is 10% off (just under £180 off) the new Gaggia Accademia!
If you saw the recent email about this, you'll know that Gaggia now have some really good bundle deals for their entry level espresso machines with the option of a proper portafilter with standard basket, and with the Gaggia MDF with free shims (basically simply a washer which is very easy to install, to enable it to grind fine enough for espresso with standard baskets).
The two options I mentioned recently were the Gran Gaggia, or the Gaggia Viva, with the standard traditional basket portafilter and with the Gaggia MD15 with shims, both for under £250.
If you want the standard portafilter, that's free, you just have to tick the box to select it. There's a tick box to select the bottomless portafilter if you want that.
These are entry level setups, but still, they're great little standard basket setups for a very low entry cost.
However, Gaggia do another machine which is somewhere in between these two and the classic, called the Carezza, which you might have heard of.
They've recently sent me one to review (blog and YouTube review coming soon) and they've just told me that they've made the bundle deals for this machine with the standard basket portafilter, and with the MD15 grinder, or both.
This is a great deal! The Carezza (with 3 year warranty) the MD15 grinder with shims and instructions (very easy to do, makes the grinder grind fine enough for standard basket espresso), and the proper metal portafilter with standard baskets, all for £349.
Don't forget to tick the box to select that you want the bundle with the MD15.
