Dear HTBS Reader – Friends!
It's the first day of the last month of 2021. For us living in the northern hemisphere, it's the month that will bring the first day of winter according to the calendar. The winter months are slow months when it comes to rowing, and maybe reading about our sport. This means that we here at HTBS are also slowing down. During the coming three months there might not be an article published every day on HTBS. The key word in the previous sentence is might.
You see, I never know what the contributors – the regulars and irregulars – are up to. Suddenly, there's a rattling sound in my computer and up on the screen comes an article from just down the road, or across the pond, or from the other side of the world. It's the most marvellous thing!
So, please don't give up on us. To be on the safe side and to make sure that you don't miss an article, sign up to get a notification via e-mail each time we post a new article. Please put your e-mail address in the little box down on the right. And yes, of course, it's FREE! You can also bookmark this page and then we are only a click away.
On 6 November, we published the 4,000th article on HTBS. So, there are plenty of old articles to read in our "archives". If you have a special interest, put a word in the "search box" on the top right hand side of this page. You never know what awaits you...
Thank you for reading HTBS.
Warm regards,
Göran R Buckhorn,
Editor, HTBS
