Ahh, time for the Head of the Charles Regatta again. This year all the races will be live streamed.

20 October 2021

Due to COVID-19, there was no Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) with crews on the Charles River last year. But there was a virtual HOCR 4702 event where anyone around the world could participate by submitting a 4,702-metre piece on a rowing machine (or on the water). Larry Fogelberg explained how it worked in an HTBS article in November 2020.

This year, however, HOCR is back in full swing on 22-24 October. And with an exciting new feature, the whole regatta will be live streamed from the start at Boston University's DeWolfe Boathouse to the finish line at Herter Park.
