This snow globe is beautiful. It is substantial and has a good weight to it, making it feels like a very high-quality piece. When switched on, there is a warm light and the sparkly silver snow swirls around, giving this lantern snow globe a very magical feel. I don't like when lights are too bright, and the light this unit generates is very warm. The nice thing, too, is that it can be powered by 3 AA batteries or via a USB cable and there are 3 settings that can be adjusted via a switch on the bottom of the unit. You can opt to keep it on, put it on a 6-hour timer, or have it turned off. It is nice to have that flexibility, because when we have guests over for Thanksgiving, I can have it turned on to add to the ambiance. I also really appreciate that there is no music feature, as that can get annoying fast.

Since we will be getting a pickup truck of our own, this lantern spoke to us with its cute pickup truck motif. It also feels very autumnal with all the adorable pumpkins. The scene is very nicely painted. We also really like the decorative scrolling on the outside of the lantern, which adds to its charm. It is a great size--not too large or too small--measuring about 10.5 inches with the handle and 4 inches at the base.
