The 2022 European Championships in indoor rowing, together with the Swedish Championships in indoor rowing, will take place in Jönköping.

In a press release the other day, the Swedish Rowing Federation announced that World Rowing and its European counterpart European Rowing have given the Swedish Federation the task to organise next year's European Rowing Indoor Championships. The 2022 Swedish Rowing Indoor Championships will be held at the same time.

The competition will take place in Idrottshuset (the Sports Hall) in the city of Jönköping on 29-30 January 2022. Co-organiser is Destination Jönköping, a marketing agency which promotes Jönköping and the surrounding towns of Huskvarna, Gränna and Visingsö as tourist destinations and meeting points.
