Just Landed | Bekele Belayecho

Bekele Belayecho
We're getting complex fruit notes of Lychee, Blueberry and Caramel in this delicious new coffee from Southern Ethiopia.
Producer Buriso Amaje's lush 8 hectare farm is located at very high altitudes between 2150-2300 masl in Segera Kebele. Here coffee can thrive. At these higher altitudes, where temperatures are cooler, cherries mature slower, helping develop more flavour complexity in the coffee. Shade grown in rich, loam soil, coffee is interplanted with with Albizia, Enset, Sesbania, avocado and banana. This helps to provide a healthier ecosystem for the coffee to grow in and plants and wildlife in the area.
