While most HTBS History Buffs might tune into Henley Royal Regatta this weekend – the Regatta's YouTube Channel shows previous races and are also live streaming the races – the World Rowing Junior Championships, for under-19 rowers, are also going on right now. Nearly 600 athletes from 43 nations are gathered in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, for the championships that will end tomorrow, Sunday 15 August.

Starting today, the championships are being live streamed for the two last days on the World Rowing website. The video streaming will start 5 minutes before the first race of the day.

Live race tracker and live audio will also be available for all races on www.worldrowing.com

For those interested, the Coupe de la Jeunesse, which ended on 8 August in Linz, was won by Italy with 427 points. Second was France with 401 points. The Netherlands took third place with 286 and the host nation, Austria, was fourth.
