Friday Can Only Mean One Thing!

Hey there coffee brewer,

Today is the Friday before dispatch.

Which means the countdown has begun until we host another pair of world-beating coffee roasters.

You're not too late to get in on the action though!

Learn about Batch Coffee Boxes.

In the meantime check out this pair of bangers in Box 30...

We welcomed Horsham and Assembly to see what they had in their coffee locker in Box 30.

Horsham are the inspiring coffee roaster based in Sussex

Back in 2012, there were a fraction of the specialty coffee roasters there are today.

With their 1kg roaster in their garage, Horsham wanted to showcase the amazing results they were able to achieve on their small-batch roaster.

They have come a considerable way from the garage back in 2012, although they are still a small team their drive and focus is still the same.

Assembly are the quality and customer focused coffee roaster based in Brixton, London.

There is no compromise in quality with any of Assembly's coffee, the meticulous quality control that these guys have as a standard is why they are dropping some of the best speciality coffees on the market today.

The Laclo has a fairly medium body with a rounded and smooth mouthfeel. The acidity is there but the sweetness is the dominant attribute - a coffee that I just didn't want to end.
Read more about the two wonderful coffees in our coffee review section.

Happy brewing,

Tom
