FAREWELL HUNAPU ZELADAS!


This week we roasted our final batch of Hunapu Zeladas from the 2020 harvest. We thoroughly enjoyed this more traceable selection from the Zeladas family.  Cherry cola was on the brain during every sip - what's not to love about that? 


Just a few weeks ago we tasted through 2021 harvest samples from our partners at Beneficio Bella Vista. We'll be keeping our focus on the Zeladas family for the forseeable future, and have selected another beautiful lot of Red Bourbon that was dried in greenhouses at Bella Vista. Be on the lookout for its return some time this Fall! 


$1 from each lb of Hunapu Zeladas sold this year was reserved for a donation towards the Antigua Coffee Highschool Program. Beneficio Bella Vista is directly involved in this two year program, which aims to provide education for younger generations to have access to better professional opportunities and continue to raise the bar for productivity, sustainability, and quality for the coffee sector in Antigua.  Your continued support makes projects like this possible, so thank you!

Brazils will become dominant on the Americas side of our menu over the next few months. This is our first year purchasing from João, but he has been an integral part of the FAF producer network in Caconde for many years. 

Flavors of peach, apricot, and nectarine, pair harmoniously with a creamy body and notes of almond butter, baking spice, and nougat. From hot to cold, João's coffee remains clean and comforting and performs well across all brew methods.
