We should also try to be less of a threat than we are with these guys. This is his only role, so he's going to need a long-term deal to get it done.

So here I am, with 5-6 players in the last 10 days. After some back room practice, and some real work to make this guy happy that my body is working and I'm not in a bind to go to town. However, today I met Tom from Gulliver Warrior. I sat with them and spoke with him as we talked about what I wanted to pursue this summer, and what I wanted to see happening in Toronto, and what I want to do to push beyond what could help this team with the big picture.

Apple is proposing a new pricing system called "demand-based patents," which Apple claims does not impact innovation and should instead be used to sell "smart televisions, mobile devices, and virtual reality technologies," according to the filing. Apple's filing also claims that "Apple Watch, or the Apple Watch VR headset,'may introduce a second set of Smart and Video features in the form of new technologies or a new set of Smart and Video features available by third party smart televisions or mobile devices connected to the Apple® Platforms.'"
The patent has long been dormant but this is now a patent-eligible new technology. We also know that Apple has proposed new "digital currency" patents in other areas, including to "help digital currency exchange operations."
It's not clear what the application will cover, though the patents are available at the filing. Google is an extremely large and powerful competitor of Apple (the company is also the world's second largest Web-based app store). But the patent is the first time patents for a new kind of gadget have been openly filed for such a device since February 2013. Indeed, the patents will not only help Apple in other areas but also may have new ones for their competitors.
