Hey coffee lover,
I think we can all agree that the most delicious espresso is prepared by a trained barista using a top-quality espresso machine. That's the best case scenario.
But not everyone is a trained barista, and most of us can't afford to visit a coffee shop for our daily caffeine hit. And as much as I'd love a La Marzocco Strada on my kitchen counter, that's probably not realistic either.
So how about a compromise? How about a super-automatic espresso machine?
Using a super-automatic espresso machine is easier than visiting a cafe, and the espresso quality is a huge step up from capsule machines. They do tend to be very expensive, but there's an exception to that rule: the Philips 3200.
We reviewed this popular automatic espresso machine earlier this year. And while it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the pricier options, we were impressed with the value for money. No, it's not a skilled barista. But on cold and grey morning, it might be the next best thing!
