OpenCV AI Competition 2022

It's finally time for another international competition organized by OpenCV. The previous three competitions (2020, 2021, 2022) have been amazing thanks to your incredible projects. This new competition is being co-organized by OpenCV China, Orbbec, Khadas, and Luxonis.
With this contest we're offering up two separate tracks for the community to unlock your creativity:
The Core OpenCV Track
An open competition where teams will solve real-world problems using OpenCV with no restrictions on the language used or problem type. Participants will have as long as 4 months to solve real world problems they are interested in using OpenCV, and the top teams will receive cash prizes from OpenCV, as well as sponsors Orbbec, and Khadas.
All teams who complete a project will be eligible to win one of the Outstanding Winners prizes: $5,000 for 1st place, $3,000 for 2nd, and $2,000 for 3rd.
Teams who use Orbbec 3D cameras for their project will be eligible for the Orbbec Awards: $740 for 1st place, $440 for 2nd place, and $290 for 3rd.
Teams which use Khadas VIM3, a 4K NVMe SBC with NPU are eligible for the Khadas Awards: $1480 for 1st, $740 for 2nd, and 3rd place teams will receive a Khadas VIM4 SBC.
All teams who successfully complete their projects will receive a customized Certificate.
Best of all, the awards are nonexclusive. That is to say, if a team uses both Orbbec 3D cameras and Khadas VIM3 in its project, it is possible to get all three first place prizes, a total monetary prize of $7220.
Teams must submit their application for the competition by 23:59:59 October 31st 2022 UTC-8, and all teams who apply will be allowed to compete. The submission deadline for final projects being December 18th 2022 at the same time.

The Spatial AI Track
For this track teams will propose and develop a high-quality depth estimation project using OpenCV AI Kit with Depth Pro (OAK-D-Pro) Spatial AI Camera designed and developed by Luxonis.
Teams can enter the Preliminaries by submitting before 23:59:59 September 15th 2022 UTC-8. Our expert panel will choose 25 teams to compete within a week after the deadline.
The Top 25 teams will receive a free OAK-D-Pro within 15 days of the announcement to implement their solution on, and will have until December 18th 2022 to submit their final projects.
Completed projects are eligible for one of 3 top prizes: $5,000 for 1st place, $3,000 for 2nd, and $2,000 for 3rd.

Both tracks are open for submissions now! You can participate in any one or both of the competition tracks.
Another big difference this time around is localization: Both tracks are fully-localized in Chinese, thanks to OpenCV China.
