Ok, so coffee beans are a little sensitive.
If you don't treat them in the right way they're just going to produce a terrible cup of coffee.
Ask any coffee roaster about how slight variations in temperature, drum speed or airflow of a roast can effect the end cup of many coffees.
That all said, one thing that really upsets roasted coffee is the air, specifically oxygen.
This happens at a much higher rate as the coffee is ground, this is because the surface area of the coffee becomes increasingly larger as the coffee is ground finer.
Whether she's your friend, spouse, mother, daughter or sister, there are literally dozens of coffee, or coffee-related gifts that might put a smile on her face.
