This Month's Coffee

In April subscribers will receive Kayanza Kibingo, Burundi - 88 SCA Score.

The vast majority of coffee grown in Burundi is produced on small farms, which in most cases tend no more than 250 trees. These small-scale growers get on average a yield of around 1.5 kg of cherry from each tree on their plot, which means their total harvest each year is between 200-300 kgs of cherry.

These micro lots are predominantly Red Bourbon varieties, which deliver exceptional quality sweet, clean, floral coffees.

Kayanza Kibingo is a low strength coffee experience from the 'Heart of Africa'.  The coffee is lightly roasted and has notes of berries.
