Hey coffee lover,
Coffee was discovered in Ethiopia, and it is currently Africa's largest coffee producer.
So there's an excellent chance that you've tasted Ethiopian coffee. They're world-renowned for their clean citric and floral notes.
But if it's a full-bodied coffee with bright acidity that you're after, you'll want to try Kenyan coffee. The flavors are complex and delicate with a spicy, winy character.
But a few other African nations have started producing some truly stellar beans that rival these 2 African coffee powerhouses in quality and taste.
For example, The Democratic Republic Of Congo has struggled through decades of war and civil unrest. But their coffee industry is now gaining momentum.
Their coffees are known to have flavors of berries, stone fruits, brown spices, and hints of citrus.
Tanzania, on the other hand, produces sweeter coffees. They mostly have notes of kiwi, juicy berries, and chocolate. Most of these are found in the foothills around the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Even the tiny nations of Burundi & Rwanda produce exotic, delightful coffees sought after by connoisseurs.
But we've barely scratched the surface.
Although African coffees are famous for their fruity flavors and bright acidity, each of these countries has something unique to offer.
You'd be doing yourself an injustice if you do not sample these coffees for yourself.
So put on your explorer hat and dive into our…
