It does exist,

nonetheless, it perishes

& you make it through

with the stench of love

It astounds,

yet it all comes to a halt with a shock

& engages in emotional play

with a haphazard conclusion

Don't mention love.

It amuses you.

but causes discomfort

& make you dance on the throne of God

with the pits of hell just around the corner

Don't mention love.

I've ceased perceiving it.

& life is a more delightful journey…
