What kind of espresso machine user are you? From Kev @ coffeeblog.co.uk

Hello fellow coffee botherer :-)

Kev here from coffeeblog.co.uk

I get quite a few emails from readers asking me something along the lines of "which is the best espresso machine & grinder setup for new home baristas", or "should I go for a separate espresso machine and grinder or an integrated grinder machine" or "should I go for a single boiler machine, heat exchanger, or dual boiler?"  or similar questions.

So I decided to write this post, which I hope you'll find useful if you have any similar questions: The Best Espresso Machine & Grinder Setup for Beginner Home Baristas

In this post I ask the question "what type of espresso machine user are you" - which is an important question if you're considering making an investment in an espresso machine.

I answer the question "how much do you need to invest?", which I answer differently to many real experts in the industry who are far more knowledgeable than me, but I also explain why I think I'm right about this.

I then talk about several different espresso machines and grinders, including single boiler machines, integrated grinder machines, heat exachangers and dual boiler machines.

I hope you find this helpful :-).

By the way, if you ever have an idea for an interesting post, or if there's something you're pondering that I may be able to look into for you and turn into a blog post, just drop me an email, I'm always really happy to get suggestions.

Thanks again,

Kev
