From Kev. My Latest Video is Live, and Can I Have Your Advice?

Hello fellow coffee botherers :-),

Just a very quick one from me tonight as I'm just waiting for the Barbeque to be ready to start chucking (veggie) food on...

Well, to be truthful, I'm waiting for the Barbeque to be ready for my wife to start chucking food on, while I get in the way while trying to help. I can't cook for toffee ;-), although I'm just about capable of turning a veggie sausage.

I've just uploaded my latest youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sht0AkJQnGE

It's a video for people who're just in the process of buying a coffee machine, to try to help people to make the right decision for them when it comes to buying their next video.

For most of my fellow coffee botherers, this is going to be teaching you how to suck eggs, as most of you are fully aware of the different kind of coffee machines & which kind of machine is right for you.

But if you don't mind, I'd really appreciate your advice in a couple of areas. You don't need to watch the full video, just watching a bit of it will enable you to do this.

Firstly, I'm not scripting this video, it's all off the cuff after just writing an outline of what I want to cover.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether you prefer this more natural approach or whether you think my usual scripted videos are better. I'm not sure, I think scripted are probably more professional, but I'd really appreciate your opinion.

Secondly, as part of my efforts to improve the audio, I've brought the mic into shot, and I'd love to know if you A) like seeing stuff like this in shot, B) don't like seeing stuff like this in shot and think it detracts from the video, or C) couldn't care less either way ;-).

Hopefully you'll find that the audio quality is much improved, not only because of moving the mic closer (and it's a new mic) but also because I've recently hired an expert to teach me how to improve things with the audio, so hopefully you can see (or should I say hear) the results of this.

The video link again to save you scrolling up ;-): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sht0AkJQnGE

I'd really appreciate your time here if you wouldn't mind having a quick watch and letting me know your thoughts.

Thanks again,

Kev
