But, instead of letting that diagnosis drag me down into the abyss of "just another chronic illness", I am digging my nerdy hills in and going to use it to transform everything... But...then I remebered the story of Chadwick Boseman who did MULTIPLE movies with Stage 3 colon cancer. He was so tough that people on set didn't even know. And I appreciated Chadwick on a whole new level. ...and I started to pick up my own nerdy self. I am going to continue my journey of transformation through mastery of habit using everything I remember from 75 Hard, Gibborim, 12 Week Year, and more... But, I now realize that all of this self-experimentation has to tie into a bigger purpose or it will be nothing. Yes, I completed 75 Hard but if it doesn't continue to radically transform my life...what was the point? Twitter likes At the same time, if I can't do 75 Hard like I want, does that mean I give up on self-transformation? Heck no. So, let's continue After reading "Smarter Tomorrow" , I realize that I want to take my habit experiments down a more "scientific" path. In addition, since I am dealing with a chronic illness (possibly 2) with one involving my nervous system, I might as well as use my experiments to improve my health as much as possible and leave a record for anybody that might follow. n essence, I'm going to continue life hacking (experiments, tracking, etc. to continually upgrade my life). My life has never been "normal", so I will not start now. Modified 75 Hard Read a book for at least 10 minutes Take a progress photo Walk at least 2,000 steps a day Do a modified workout of modified squats,lunges, wall pushups, 2 handed kettlebell press, and plank Complete top 3 goals Today's progress: I did everything except #5. I'll have to restart...but I did find The 75 Strong Challenge: Build A Remarkable, Stronger You in 75 Days with These 10 Powerful Tasks...so I might upgrade a little. This free site is ad-supported. You can view the project in our main web page – Learn Code. Well, we want to use this concept to apply to using for our Moile App. How can we do it in App Inventor? Let discuss on the steps. Animate a Stick Man Walking WALKING THUMBNAIL Since we have done the project in Scratch, I have easier task of downloading my costumes from Scratch. If you have done so, you can either work on your drawing in Scratch or other drawing tools (eg Piskel). Animate Walk Designer The following components are needed. walking animate design Add 1 canvas and 1 Image sprite. Upload the 6 costumes of animate walking images. Walking 3 or more left and right each. Add 1 horizontalArrangement and 2 buttons. The buttons are for left and right button press. Rename buttons – leftbtn and rightbtn. Add 2 clocks and disable the Timer Enabled. Set the clock interval 200 seconds. Animate Walking Block We will add 1 global variable imagecount. Initialize to 0. Screen initalize set X to 231. When rightbtn touch down, set Clock1 to timer enabled to True, set Clock1 to timer enabled to False. When rightbtn touch up, set Clock1 to timer enabled to False. Copy the rightbtn for leftbtn touch down and touch up. Clock1 timer enabled to False and set Clock2 to timer enabled to True. For touch up, set Clock2 to timer enabled to False. When clock1 Tiner event, check the imagecount if less than 3, then set the photo to prefix walk + imagecount + .png. this will pick up the rotating images and increase imagecount. increase image sprite x to 10 to have it moving forward. if greater than 3, then set imagecount to 0 and first image. When clock2 Tiner event, check the imagecount if less than 6, then set the photo to prefix walk + imagecount + .png. this will pick up the rotating images and increase imagecount. Decrease image sprite x to 10 to have it moving backward. walker-animate-demo Finally, let have fun playing our new animation and I will compare with my Scratch walking animation as well.
