UPDATE March 3, 2015: We finally hear back from the author of this letter with evidence to support our claim that a second letter was signed by millions of people.
The person who signed this petition in response to the original post stated that at least one new member of Reddit had been notified about the original letter and she was waiting to take any additional action on their side.
He then responded with a statement that in case this is true and that we would take "action", he wrote: "We didn't set up a second letter at that time and now it's been the subject of many people's emails in the last 30-40 hours."
