A New Course in Digital Marketing at Stanford
Stanford is doing quite well with its course in digital marketing after a year of not getting mentioned on other schools' curriculum.
The course, entitled Creative Entrepreneurship in a Changing Age, is a "deep learning, microtargeting, social engineering and other disciplines" course and provides graduates with the necessary programming and analytical skills for successful content creators to reach their targets.
A lot of the courses we've discussed about have very basic technical skills, and no course in this category of digital marketing courses has successfully taught users and marketers what programming is, but they've managed to teach a lot of this stuff on paper. It makes learning it more of a process as your users engage with your programs, rather than just as your publishers or advertisers.
In the new course, one of the primary focus areas is "What is digital marketing?" the course comes off as a bit silly, but it's a great place to start to work out what you need to become a digital marketing professional.

When it comes to marketing and sales, there is no point getting into some stuff like that. You've gotta get in there and do something. No more.

When I think of health, I think of food. That's the single most important thing ever: Health. It's why we all eat. And I'd hate for you to be tempted to give up your food — I know that sounds scary.
