Hello fellow coffee botherer,
Happy Father's Day :-),
If you're anything like me, you probably roll your eyes at that ;-). It does seem a bit daft to me that we have special days of the year that involve buying completely useless things for people based on their relationship to us.
Don't get me wrong, I partake in the nonsense ;-). This year I've sent my Dad chocolate brownies via Etsy or something (Thanks to my wife, hehe, as if my Dad didn't know)
My kids always get me something on father's day, that I really don't need but of course I appreciate the thought (again, thanks to my wife ;-) no doubt!).
Anyway, regardless of my cynicism, I do realize that events like this keep the economy moving and the world turning, and for us, they're a great opportunity to save money on stuff we were going to buy anyway! Which brings me to the point...
Grind are having a 25% off Father's Day Sale, on all products!
This includes their coffee, and their Nespresso compatible coffee pods, but most importantly, it includes the Grind One Nespresso compatible machine! | | | If you don't know about this machine, in my opinion it's one of the best Nespresso compatible pod machines on the market.
It looks like a tiny E61 group Italian lever espresso machine, it's mega simple to use, it's really compact, and even at £295 I think it's a pretty good deal, for £221.25 (which you'll get it for today only) I think it's a steal.
I'm a poet, and I didn't know it ;-).
Here's my YouTube review:

| | I just thought I'd pass that on.
While I'm here, though, have you stuck your name in the hat to win the Goat Story Arco?
If you missed that, it's this month's give away, it's completely free to enter, no strings attached, literally just put your name in the hat.
| | | If you're not sure what this is and why you'd want to win this, it's worth about five hundred quid, its an electric and manual coffee grinder, with 240 grind settings, with a huge range from Ibrik all the way to cold brew, and it's actually very, very good!
I've not published my video on it yet (I know, bad timing, I should have released the video prior to the giveaway, never mind!) but in the meantime, see Kyle Rowsell's review video in which he compares it to the Niche Zero & Lagom Mini:
