When Dad and I started Blue Coffee Box in 2017, we wanted to help fellow coffee lovers discover amazing Speciality Coffee. It grew from Dad's back bedroom in Deal, Kent, to our small-but-perfectly-formed packing unit in Canterbury and has delivered hundreds of thousands of bags of perfect coffee. Blue Coffee Box is still a small, family-owned business, with a small, dedicated staff, doing our best with what we have. We're so grateful for you and your support. There is some news to share… 1. We're constantly trying to reduce our packing and environmental footprint In the coming weeks, our EcoBox will change to an EcoPack and reduce the cardboard content by 58%. The EcoPack will still be fast compostable, completely plastic-free and, as an added bonus, will probably fit through more letterboxes. The bags will fit snuggly to arrive in perfect condition and it will be easier for you dispose of after delivery. 2. Subscription prices are changing We want you to have the opportunity to lock in the current price before 1st November 2022. As you may know, the prices of postage, energy, packaging, coffee and other services essential to our business have risen dramatically over the past couple of years. Because of these changes, we will be increasing the price of our Blue Coffee Bag and Box Subscriptions and Subscription Gifts for new customers and new gift orders. Starting 1st November 2022 the monthly cost moves to £9.99 and £18.99 (less if prepaying 3 months or more) in order to deliver the best level of quality and service. 3. How to lock-in your existing price Anyone with an existing subscription before 1st November will be automatically allocated a lifetime discount code of 10% to keep the price at the current level as long as you remain subscribed. This will be automated for you so there's nothing to worry about or change. Any new customers between now and the end of the month will also be locked in with the same lifetime discount. | | Your subscription includes: - The UK's first (and only, we think) coffee subscription with certified 100% fast compostable and 100% Plastic Free packaging
- Speciality Coffee from guest UK roasters that change every month - that score over 83+ on the SCA quality scale

- Direct Trade Speciality Coffee - our coffee farmers are paid at least 30% more than the Fair Trade price
- Coffees from 26 different coffee producing countries
