Learn how to Create a Virtual Camera and control a Zoom meeting using hand gestures detected using mediapipe
Hello trend,
This is Satya Mallick from LearnOpenCV.com.
In today's post, we will give you the power to control your Zoom meeting using Computer Vision. You will learn how to create a virtual camera and connect it to Zoom as the input instead of the default webcam. Next, we will perform Hand Detection, Hand Landmarks detection, and Face Detection using mediapipe to control some operations of the zoom meeting. It's going to be super exciting!
We will be adding the following features to the application:
- Turn the Video On or Off.
- Improve privacy by stopping the camera if other people are detected in the frame.
- Apply background blur ( which can be easily extended to any arbitrary background ).
- Zoom In or Out using hand gestures.
Without further ado, let's get started.
You can check out the code by clicking on the button below, and star us on GitHub to say thanks!
Play around and share your results on social media, you might end up getting a hiring call from zoom engineers! ;)
Cheers!
Satya
