From Kev, Please read this if you roast your own coffee beans...

Hello fellow coffee botherers :-),

Happy bank holiday weekend. Hopefully I've caught you just before you get stuck into the pimms or prosecco ;-).

Just a quick email for anyone who roasts their own beans who currently orders any of the green beans we currently offer at The Coffeeworks.

We have, up until now, offered the beans green, unroasted, for a just a few of the coffees, including the current coffee of the month Caramelised Biscuit & Gingerbread Decaf Colombia.

By the way, in case you missed the email, this month you get double the discount on this coffee (with your coffeebotherers discount code)

But I've had a few complaints from customers, that the homepage displays a slightly lower price than you actually get when you go to order the beans.

This is because these beans are currently available green, unroasted, and as that option is the lowest cost, the ecommerce software shows that as the lowest price by default, and there's not much we can do about it.

So, to avoid confusion going forward, we're removing the green option, and just selling roasted beans via The Coffeeworks.

If you currently buy greens from us, and you want to continue to use these beans, just drop me an email and I'll sort something out so you can order but not through the website.

If you do roast your own beans, by the way, and you want a fantastic supply of green beans, a huge range offered to home roasters at trade pricing, the guys at small batch roaster supplies, offer a 10% discount to my fellow coffee botherers, with the discount code COFFEEWORKS. Just make sure you use this discount code for any future orders, as I don't think their website can automatically re-apply the code.

Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday weekend, and I hope the weather holds out for you! :-)

Thanks again,

Kev
