From Kev, Espresso with an Aeropress - With Crema...?

Hello fellow coffee botherers :-), I've had quite a few emails lately about Aeropress brewing, and I've said I'll start producing more Aeropress content going forward.  So, here's the first one - in this video I'm answering the question "can you make espresso, with crema, with an espresso machine" - the answer, is yes, kind of, and I'm demonstrating exactly how to do it, in this video. https://youtu.be/fgI8dIc5vZk   I say kind of, simply because it's not made with an espresso machine so it can't really be referred to as espresso, I think "style" needs adding to the description of any espresso-esque coffee that is made with anything other than an espresso machine.  Also, although I think this (very quick and simple) method produces the closest thing to crema, again I don't think you'll ever get "true" crema from anything but an espresso machine.  But still, from a manual brewer costing not much more than £20, and a process which takes a minute or two and involves virtually no cleanup, can't really complain!  I hope you find this of interest, and if there's any other specific kinds of videos you'd like to see on the Aeropress, please let me know.  Thanks again, Kev coffeeblog.co.uk cworks.co.uk Follow me on Twitter Follow me on Instagram Follow me on Facebook  Subscribe to my YouTube Channel
