From Kev, Coffee Banned in Italy!?

Hello fellow coffee botherers :-),

Don't panic, coffee isn't banned right now in Italy, phew - but did you know that it was banned in the past?

If your initial response was "yeah, when it first landed there in the 16th century" yeah that was what I thought, but no, it was banned much more recently, and this little bit of history seems to have been missed from most espresso history

This is quite a short video, and it's not all coffee related, you'll see I lose the plot at 5:39 reading  an unexpected bit of driving advice, and I drop another bombshell about something else that was banned, oh and I accidentally ruin a historic document too, shh, don't tell the museum who loaned it to me...

I'm kidding, I actually bought it on eBay ;-). Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks again,

Kev
