But specialty coffee from this country is now on par with other highly rated Central American coffee, mostly due to the efforts of the National Coffee Institute of Honduras, established in 2000.
Honduran coffee beans are quite versatile and suitable for multiple roast profiles and brewing methods. High-grown light roasts exhibit bright fruit and floral notes with a mild sweetness. On the other hand, the medium roasts taste of nuts, tropical fruit, and milk chocolate.
