Hey coffee lover,
The French Press is a classic, well-loved brewer. The coffee it makes is deliciously sweet, robust, and full-bodied. But the Aeropress is no slouch in the taste department. It brews a lighter, cleaner cup of coffee that highlights the subtle flavors of the bean.
And both brewers let you adjust the brew time, grind size, and customize your coffee as per your liking. So it can be hard choosing between the two.
But taste aside, the Aeropress and the French Press are quite different. Whether it's the brewing time, method, or ease of use, both have their pros & cons. The biggest difference, though, might be their capacity. You can find French Presses in all sizes — from 12-oz all the way up to 51-oz. But the Aeropress is only available in one size and is most commonly used as a single-serve brewer. Although, you can brew a strong coffee concentrate and dilute it to make 3-4 cups of coffee.
So which one is better for your needs?
You can pick your side after reading our article…
