But is one better than the other?
Even if you have one, you want to buy the other.
Just to see how different it is.
The V60's single large opening allows for a faster drawdown.
The Kalita's flat bottom and 3 smaller holes restrict the flow, resulting in a slower brew.
They use different kinds of filter papers too.
All this is common knowledge.
But the most crucial question is, "how does the coffee taste?"
Well, taste is subjective.
All we can do is look at how the design choices affect how they brew.
