Yogurt, cheese, ginger ale, even beer.
Fermented food has been around forever.
But when we talk about fermented coffee, it could mean coffee beans that have undergone fermentation during processing.
These beans are roasted as usual, and you brew them just like you brew regular coffee.
Fermented coffee is different, though.
It's brewed coffee that's fermented in a controlled manner.
The end result is a coffee-flavored, tangy, bubbly drink.
Quite similar to kombucha, in fact.
