I'm going to start by saying, I haven't seen Black Widow yet, but I am excited to watch it as soon as I can. Now for the real movie releases that I'm excited for.
The Suicide Squad
James Gunn is directing this movie, and it looks like a very explosive and fun action movie. I love the fact they have King Shark. The Suicide Squad isn't carrying on from Suicide Squad, and it's a completely standalone movie that has no references to the current DCCU.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife
While I am in the minority that enjoyed the 2016 Ghostbusters for what it was (a standalone movie related to the Ghostbusters universe), I'm really looking forward to this new movie which is carrying on from the original franchise. I can't wait to watch this one and get stuck into another Ghostbusters renewal.
Dune
I'm not going to lie, I saw this on YouTube and took a pass on the trailer. I don't think the screenshot or title really did much for me but I was stupid to look past it. I started hearing more talks about it on Twitter, Slack and other videos on YouTube and that's when I gave it a chance. It looks incredible with incredible actors and now I'm 100% going to see the movie when it's released.
Old
This is another movie that sounds dull and boring but the trailer definitely had me intrigued. It's directed by M. Night Shyamalan who also directed Glass, Split, The Sixth Sense and many more. He has created some awesome movies, and this one looks to be no different. The concept of visiting a beach that makes you grow old fast is a strange one, but it could be a really good film.
Free Guy
Everything Ryan Reynolds is in, is incredible... Okay, okay, maybe not everything *cough* Green Lantern *cough* but most things. Free Guy looks like a fabulously funny action movie, and I'm all for it. I really, seriously can't wait to watch Free Guy and become a fan girl once again.
