June 30, 2021

Nearly two dozen coffees in June scored 94 points or higher, eight of which earned 95 points. The majority of these coffees were from Africa, particularly Kenya and Ethiopia but also Rwanda, Tanzania, and Burundi.  Seven coffees were recognized as best values, including numerous 93-95 coffees priced less than $20/12 ounces.

Top-Rated Coffees

In June, nearly two dozen coffees earned 94 or 95 points.  If you're a fan of African coffees, you're in luck.  There were multiple 94+ coffees from Ethiopia (8), Kenya (3), Tanzania (3), and Rwanda (2), as well as two from Ecuador.

Best Value Coffees

Many of the excellent coffees we reviewed in June also present great values.  Seven coffees that earned 93 points or higher were recognized as best values, including options from Burundi, Ecuador, Rwanda, Sumatra, and Tanzania.
