Hello fellow coffee botherer :-).
Kev here from coffeeblog.co.uk.
I refer to my readers/viewers as fellow coffee botherers, by the way, just in case you're wondering what that greeting was all about ;-), it's how I start all of my YouTube videos.
Firstly, I just wanted to say thanks again for joining Brew Time :-). I hope you enjoy my emails, and my blog posts.
A Couple of quick notes.
Just a couple of things I want to make sure all new readers know about (by the way, if you're in a rush and all you're bothered about is discount codes ;-), no worries, just scroll down to the bottom of this email).
My Youtube Channel
I'm mainly reviewing machines on my YouTube channel, which tend to be quite in depth user reviews. They're not super nerdy technical reviews, I'm not clever enough to do that ;-), they're user reviews, but I go into quite a bit of detail. I also do various how to guides on the machines I review, such as milk steaming tutorials, guides to pulling shots, etc.
My Patreon
As you'll probably know, Patreon is a way to support your favourite content creators. If I become one of yours, I'd be very grateful for your support :-).
It's not all one way though! Patreon supporters get the chance to win the products I review, suggest new videos, behind the scenes footage, special discounts, and more. Click here if you'd like to become an "Accredited coffee botherer" (my name for my Patreon supporters).
My social media profiles:
Are we following each other on social media? I like to follow my readers too, so if you follow me I should reciprocate, please don't be annoyed if I don't do it straight away, I tend to sit down every so often and go through my followers to make sure I'm following everyone back.

The Coffeeworks
This is my own brand of freshly eco roasted coffee beans.
In short, I wanted to create my own coffee firm - so I consulted with my fellow coffee botherers (that's people like you, coffeeblog readers) over the period of a few months. I asked what taste people were looking for, what was important to them in terms of things like sustainability, eco friendliness and so on, and eventually The Coffeeworks was launched.
So The Coffeeworks was literally created with the advice of people just like you, for people just like you, so you may just find it to become one of the favourite places to get your lovely, freshly roasted coffee beans from :-).
As a fellow coffee botherer, you get 10% off all coffee at The Coffeeworks, for life - just use the discount code coffeebotherers at checkout, or click here to go to the website with the code already added.
Flash Sale - Today only!
As you've just joined my list, and you don't really know me yet - if you put your trust in me and order coffee from my new coffee business, I think that's worth rewarding with an increased discount - so just for today (for 24 hours from when you first join Brew Time) you get a whopping 40% off ALL of the lovely tasty freshly roasted coffee beans at The Coffeeworks - just click here to go to the website with your code already added.
About me, and coffeeblog.
My name is Kev Lewis, I'm mad about coffee, and I started coffeeblog.co.uk back in 2015, when my wife and kids bought me a new coffee maker for my birthday. I wanted to review it, and I also wanted to review some coffee I'd just tried.
Rather than write an Amazon review or something like that, I just thought, you know what, I'll start a blog, about coffee, called coffeeblog - original, I know ;-) - I never looked back.
I started out as purely a coffee lover, with little or no particular coffee knowledge or skills, and I developed some of these as I went along - in fact, thanks to another birthday present from my family, for my 40th, I became an SCAE qualified Barista, get me! ;-)
What you'll find on coffeeblog, are various blog posts about coffee, coffee beans, the coffee industry, coffee shops, coffee machines, coffee makers - and all things coffee.
Reviews
When it comes to reviews, I do things differently than most. When you read reviews about products or services, what you'll often find is that actually, the person writing the review has had very little experience with the product or service.
These kinds of reviews annoy me, many of them are just replications of replications, and I don't think they're of value to anyone.
So when I create reviews about services, such as coffee subscriptions for instance, I actually become a paying customer of the service, and IF I'm genuinely impressed, I remain a customer, and then created the review.
When it comes to equipment reviews, I'll either buy the coffee maker/machine or I'll pester the manufacture or supplier to send me the machine for a week or so, so I can use it as my coffee machine for a week or longer, in order to write (and film) a proper user review.
