What to expect from Amazon earnings: The pandemic-driven e-commerce surge is expected to fuel record sales and profit, with Amazon likely topping $100 billion in quarterly revenue for the first time when it reports its fourth quarter earnings on Tuesday afternoon. Investors will also be keeping a close eye on revenue growth for Amazon Web Services, a key driver of profits for the larger company. Last week Microsoft reported a 50% increase in revenue for its Azure cloud computing platform and related services.
